The competitions are expensive and most are out of town. There are significant entry fees, travel and per diem costs for the students, teachers, and mentors.

The annual fees for team registration, a robot kit of parts, and event participation are $5,000 - $6,000.

We believe that no one who wants to participate should have to bow out due to lack of resources. We will do everything possible to make funds available to those who need extra help.
