Welcome to the official website of Team FMJ 4462 – Full Metal Jackets. The First Robotics team in Roane County, TN. Our team is comprised of students and teachers from schools in Roane County. We have a year round program that centers on our team’s motto, “We Build More Than Robots. We Build People!”

What is VEX?
VEX Robotics is an educational program made for all ages, from elementary school through college. Its goal is to interest students in the STEM field. VEX uses hands-on activities and learning to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, and leadership. Additionally, VEX offers our future engineers the equipment and mentorships required for success in our rapidly changing world
Competition, volunteer engineers, high school students, and community members join together to build a robot that will perform specific tasks. Students brainstorm, prototype, design, and create such a robot through this building process.

2022 FIRST Robotics Competition
"Out of 52 teams from all over the United States plus one team from Canada and another from Germany, we were ranked 15th. In the East Tennessee we ranked 3rd. EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!! Nice job TEAM FMJ!!!"
